Green Energy (Kinda), Tax Dollars, and Peoria County IL.
The Windmills coming to Western, and Northern Peoria County IL are no joke. According to FAA and DoD Approval, They’re up to 698ft tall (300ft+ taller than the ones you see now), owned by a foreign company, and will reduce your property value. Did you consent to that? Neither did we. That’s why we’re trying to stop them. Below you’ll find the projects that are coming. Why are we concerned? This link takes you to an article that does a great job explaining the side you don’t hear about in the news.

Can County Boards vote No?
The common sentiment is, “No, they can’t.” The County boards have their hands tied from IL County Code 55 ILCS 5/5-12020 and must vote '“yes.” The truth is, this is a misguided interpretation of the statute. County Boards can absolutely vote no, they just have to know how.
Peoria County Board Members.
If you are opposed to this, please contact your county board rep and let them know. Also let them know how they can vote “no” to the Peoria County Wind Facilities.

We have a fund created for our legal battle against these projects. Every dollar helps, and COUNTS! If you don’t want this to happen, and you don’t have time to activate, we encourage you to help us battle this. All of us who live here have skin in the game.
Let’s save our way of life!
We all live in the country and our small town, because we appreciate the rural way of life. These windmill farms erode the lifestyle - and because of that our communities slowly decay. Nobody wants to move to a windfarm or “wind facility,” so our property values decrease, then our population decreases, and finally our way of life disappears. Once thriving communities are all but abandoned. If you want to preserve the rural life in Peoria County Illinois, fill the form below and we’ll be thrilled to have your help.
We exist because we ARE residents and landowners in the footprint of the Wind Facilities in Peoria County, and we do NOT agree with how this is currently being handled. Let’s be clear - The landowners and Farmers that have signed these lease agreements are not at fault. The Wind Energy Companies have found a way to circumvent the voice of the majority, and are leveraging it in tandem with our state’s policies to get what they want without asking US, the 95%, for our permission. We aim to stop that.
